On March 27, 29, 31, April 2, 5, 10 and 12, Christopher Maltman will reprise the title role of Don Giovanni at the famed Teatro alla Scala. A signature role of Mr. Maltman’s, he has been described as “one of the best Don Giovannis on the operatic scene” (Operawire). Mr. Maltman has performed the role in other world-famous opera houses including Bayerische Staatsoper, Royal Opera House, Teatro Real, Staatsoper Berlin, Gran Teatre del Liceu and Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse, among others.

This thrilling production by Robert Carsen will also feature Hanna-Elisabeth Müller as Donna Anna, Bernard Richter as Don Ottavio, Emily D’Angelo as Donna Elvira, Alex Esposito as Leporello, Andrea Carroll as Zerlina, Fabio Capitanucci as Masetto and Günther Groissböck (March 27, 29, 31, April 2, 12) and Jongmin Park (April 5, 10) as Commendatore. Pablo Heras-Casado conducts.
