Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 in Paris

On November 24 and 25, Christopher Maltman joins the Paris Orchestra for two spectacular performances of Mahler’s Symphony No. 8. Known as the “Symphony of a Thousand,” this grand opus unfolds as a remarkable collaboration, bringing together an ensemble of exceptional performers and renowned musical groups.

Collaborating with the Paris Orchestra includes the Paris Conservatory Orchestra, Choir of the Paris Orchestra, Children’s Choir of the Paris Orchestra, The Youth Choir of Paris from the Regional Conservatory of Paris, and The Master Choir of Paris from the Regional Conservatory of Paris.

A lineup of other distinguished vocal soloists performs alongside Mr. Maltman, including sopranos Johanni van Oostrum, Sarah Wegener, and Johanna Wallroth, mezzo-sopranos Jamie Barton and Marie-Andrée Bouchard Lesieur, tenor Andrew Staples and bass Tareq Nazmi. Steering this musical endeavor with finesse is the accomplished conductor, Daniel Harding.
